Abstract: 
           
BXEDSDETECTis a general program which computes the relative detector efficiency
of Si(Li) and HP Ge EDS detector systems. The user inputs as parameters the
thickness of the respective detector absorbing layers (Parylene, Al, Be, Au,
Dead Layer and Active Layer) as well as the energy range and increment for the
calculation. Output is in simple tabular form listing energy and relative
efficiency for the chosen parameters.
